Step-On-Guide Service

  • National Historic Landmark District
    Cost: $50 per bus/vehicle

    Your group will learn about Marshall's unique past and tour our National Historic Landmark District. A guide will meet you at the Honolulu House Museum to begin the basic tour for a fee of $50.00.

    Your tour can be customized to include stops at the Marshall museums. Admission fees will be arranged in advance. A special rate of $10 per person will include admission to the four "core" museums - the Honolulu House Museum, the GAR Hall Museum, the Capitol Hill School Museum, and the Governor's Mansion Museum. You can also add stops at the Marshall Postal Museum ($3.00 / person) and the American Museum of Magic (no charge) during your tour.

Other Sites of Interest

  • Enjoy Marshall's 1.6 mile Riverwalk along Rice Creek and the Kalamazoo River. This walk consists of both elevated boardwalks and paved pathways. Tour maps available at the Marshall Area Chamber of Commerce.
  • Tour the Marshall Postal Museum with a collection of memorabilia that shows how life has changed in the past century and a half. This museum is second only to the Smithsonian.
  • Attend the Dinner Theater at Cornwell's Turkeyville U.S.A. enjoying the entertainment, dinner, homemade ice-cream and shopping in the Country Store.
  • Shop in Marshall's Historic tree lined downtown, visiting unique antique and specialty shops while experiencing Marshall's hospitality.
  • Dine in our fine restaurants. Schuler's original restaurant can easily accommodate coaches as well as Cornwell's Turkeyville, U.S.A.
  • View historic markers and graves showing Marshall's history as part of the Underground Railroad.

  • Victorian Teas at the National House Inn, the oldest operating Bed and Breakfast in Michigan, and a former stagecoach stop.
  • Victorian Teas at the Governor's Mansion.
  • Specialty classes at Southern Exposure Herb Farm - Homemade vinegars, candles, wreaths, shopping and more.
  • Tour the American Museum of Magic and see some of the items used by Houdini and other great magicians.
  • Sweet treats prepared by Schuler's Restaurant for your leisure time snack.
